On the 29th October 1914, the overdraft had increased to

August payments into Special Instalment Account not yet transferred

to Current Account) not including Liquidation Expenses Account $20,321.29, which, as you are aware, must be met in fall in priority

to other claims, in accordance with the Ordinance.

Owing to our Mr. Williams' illness and absence, we are not

able to verify the fast but it appears we were not put in possession

of the full extent of your lien by virtue of the deed of 12th August

last and its extension of 25th September until about the 28th Nov.

1914 when the question of payment of your Hamburg Acceptance £2,000.

came up for discussion, vide our letter of 1st December returning

the deed.
